CareerHelpp needed a student-facing portal that gave international students in the UK everything they needed to find work and thrive — all in one place. Job listings, CV building, course enrolment, accommodation search, and career support.
We designed and built the CareerHelpp student dashboard — a feature-rich web app with personalised greetings, live job opportunity tracking, ATS CV builder, accommodation search, learning hub, and a comprehensive profile system — all with a polished dark UI.

ATS CV Builder
Build professional, ATS-optimised CVs with UK-standard templates. Keyword suggestions tailored to target roles in the UK job market.
Jobs Portal
34 live job opportunities with search, filtering, and bookmarking. Apply directly through the portal with application status tracking.
Accommodation Search
Find student-friendly housing linked to job locations — a unique feature helping international students with both work and housing simultaneously.
Learning Hub
Enrol in career-enhancing courses, track progress, and earn certificates — all within the CareerHelpp ecosystem.
Profile & Completion Score
95% profile completion score with step-by-step checklist, helping students present themselves competitively to employers.
How we built it
A structured delivery process that turns complex requirements into a polished, production-ready product on time.
01/Student Research
Interviews with 20+ CareerHelpp students to map pain points, key workflows, and feature priorities.
02/UX Design
Dark-themed dashboard UI with clear navigation hierarchy — Main Menu, Student Services, Learning & Support.
03/Core Features
8-week build: jobs portal, CV builder, dashboard overview, and profile system — shipped iteratively.
04/Extended Features
Accommodation module, learning hub, support tickets, and calendar integration added in weeks 9–12.
05/Launch
Launched to CareerHelpp's existing student base with onboarding emails and in-app guidance prompts.
